My name is Andreia.

I am the person behind LunaMia, a project born from a very simple desire: to create with my hands, calmly and meaningfully.

Since I was little, I've loved handicrafts. I always enjoyed playing with colours, textures, and giving shape to ideas, whether with modelling clay or anything I could transform into something beautiful.

Over time, this creativity found a new outlet in earrings. I've always been passionate about them, but there was a small problem: I couldn't wear them. I have an allergy, and for a long time, I felt I couldn't find solutions that were both comfortable and beautiful.

It was out of this need that the idea was born to create pieces that could be combined with each other, with different hoops, including clip options, allowing for easy style changes without sacrificing comfort.

Initially, it was just for me. But, with my family's encouragement, I started to realise that it might make sense to share this project with other people who might feel the same way, or who simply enjoy the freedom to vary their look easily every day.

It was also during this phase that the project started to be named LunaMia 🧡 The name comes from one of my greatest passions: cats. Mia, who was part of my life for many years, and Luna, who will soon join the family.

Today, LunaMia grows at my own pace, between work, motherhood, and busy days, where I find small moments to create.

Each piece is born in these moments, with time, care, and a lot of affection.
